The spine or spinal column of the human body is an extremely important part. As it supported the whole body to maintain balance, all spinal nerves emerge from the spinal column which is directly connected to the brain through the spinal cord. The spinal column is formed by 31 (thirty-one) vertebra. It contributes support to all-important chest and abdominal organs.
The spinal column naturally moves in five different directions.
1 Forward bending,
2 Back bending,
3 Lateral bending,
4 Spinal twist,
5 Spinal extension.
In our day-to-day life very rarely do these five different movements happen, only forward bend movement happens very common almost in every activity like sitting, walking, driving even in sleeping also. If all these five-movement doesn’t happen then in day-to-day work then there are chances of getting stiffness in the spinal column which could be annoying in day-to-day work, rather it could be very painful.
Again the spinal column is very prone to injuries while any physical activity, like driving, jumping, playing, even in a long sitting position.
So we must be sure that all five spinal movements happen in our work knowingly or unknowingly.
We have a wonderful spine care program that is designed to maintain the good health of the spinal column. This Yoga program is very dedicated to the spine. Where participants will learn very unique spinal movements which will boost the health and strength of the spinal column eventually which will help to keep our whole health in condition.
